Delhi Daredevils won the toss and elected to field

Apparently, the organisers asked the crowd to come in 5 hours before the start of the game (security issues) and people have responded positively.

And it's Sarabjit Ladda who will be playing instead of Yo Mahesh. Typo in my initial Gambhir quote. I have changed it now.

It's not houseful yet but junta have been coming in. It seats 40,000 and despite being a weekday, it is easily 60 percent full and will swell further as the evening lenghtens.

It has become a dust bowl after the dust from the parking lots surrounding the stadium has kicked in. it gives a foggy feeling in combination with the haze of the floodlights.
